Welcome to Virtual Wife

Thanks for visiting my website.  I created this site in response to the huge uproar that my advertisement for a “Virtual Wife/Professional Housekeep/Personal Assistant” has caused.

The controversy

What was simply a job ad for someone to help me around the house so I can concentrate on growing my business has attracted so much media and community attention that it has completely taken on a life of its own!  Unfortunately, many people have taken my advertisement the wrong way and I really want to make it clear that my intention was not to offend anyone or degrade women – I simply wanted someone with housekeeping and organisational skills that could help me with the things that I just don’t have the time to do.  See the Current Affair Interview here

The response

What may surprise many people is that I have actually had a lot of positive responses to my advertisement.  Not only have I been contacted by both men and women that provide housekeeping, organisational, administration and support services, I have also heard from lots of people (women too!) that are as time-poor as me and are seeking someone to help them run their household.

The solution

This is obviously a common issue in today’s busy world – business and family are our priorities, so things like household bills, dentist appointments and washing dishes sometimes fall to the wayside.  To help put the people that need these services in touch with those that provide them, I’m creating this website which will make it simple for these two groups to find each other.

So if you are a service provider or are looking for someone to help you manage your household, please submit your details using the buttons on the left.  If you have any general or media enquiries, you can contact me here and I’ll be in touch with you when this site launches in the next few days.

All the best,

Cameron Clancy
